Apprenticeship standards set out the knowledge, skills and behaviours an apprentice must have to be competent in their role and successfully achieve the end-point assessment. The development and assessment of behaviours however can be harder to develop and difficult to quantify.
Drawn from our work with 900 apprenticeship providers, we’re hosting a 2-part webinar series providing guidance and examples on:
- How to identify the apprentice’s behavioural starting point
- Mapping behaviours from the standard into the training plan
- Training techniques to develop behaviours, with the employer
- Monitoring progress, assessing and evidencing behaviours
- Behaviors and preparation for end-point assessment
Who is this webinar series for?
This recorded webinar series is for mid-level managers and front-line staff involved in apprenticeship training
Facilitators and speakers
The recorded webinar facilitator is Chris Cherry, an SDN expert in apprenticeship on-programme training and end-point assessment. Chris has been heavily involved in the development of new standards and assessment plans, as well as supporting hundreds of apprenticeship staff to prepare for the reforms.
Why an SDN recorded webinar series?
SDN are leading experts in the apprenticeship reforms – we’ve helped to set up some of the first EPAOs now offering end-point assessment, and train their assessors. We’ve supported over 3,000 apprenticeship staff, from 900 organisations, to help prepare to deliver apprenticeship standards and understand end-point assessment. We’ve also worked closely with over 80 of the trailblazer employer groups, giving us a unique insight into what is required.
