Government departments and agencies
We are a trusted partner with policy makers. SDN has worked closely with the Department of Business, Innovation & Skills (BIS), the Department for Education (DfE) and the Skills Funding Agency (SFA) to help the sector understand and implement policy change.
National membership bodies
SDN works closely with national membership bodies such as the Federation for Industry Sector Skills & Standards (FISSS), the Association of Employment and Learning Providers (AELP), the Association of Colleges (AoC), the Learning and Work Institute (L&W), HOLEX and others to deliver national support programme, projects and consultancy for their members.
Industry and employer partnerships
SDN has close working relationships with many of the sector skills councils (SSCs), standard setting bodies (SSBs) and National Skills Academies (NSAs). We conduct research to identify the opportunities and challenges for employers in each industry, providing industry status reports to inform policy and highlight support needs.
Training and skills delivery organisations
