HEIs delivering apprenticeship provision at Levels 4 and 5 are in scope for Ofsted inspections and early monitoring visits. This workshop provides the perfect opportunity for HEI staff to increase their understanding of Ofsted’s Common Inspection Framework and how it informs the process of inspection.
Led by those who have conducted some of the most recent inspections with HEIs – SDN and Mesma are hosting a one-day workshop, providing an introduction to Ofsted’s inspection process, and how you might prepare.
Held on Wednesday, 6th March in London, the workshop will cover:
- Insights from recent apprenticeship inspections, and lessons that can be learnt
- The process of inspection and the types of evidence Ofsted will be looking for
- Dispelling myths and understanding the remit of Ofsted and the ESFA
- Identifying key strengths and weaknesses to inform your Self Assessment Review (SAR)
- Actions you can take to prepare leaders, managers and front-line delivery staff for the inspection process and apprenticeship quality assurance
