End-point assessment is different and high-stakes
If you are looking to deliver end-point assessment in future (or prepare apprentices for it), you will need to get to grips with multiple assessment methods specified in the new assessment plans and the key ways in which assessment practice is changing.
This twelve-part recorded webinar series includes:
Eight short recorded webinars on the most common end-point assessment methods – each one looks at what the method is; when it is used; what it assesses (and doesn’t assess); validity, reliability and robustness; and how it works in practice
- Mastering the Professional Discussion
- Working with Showcases or Presentations
- The dynamics of Written Tests and Multiple Choice Assessments
- Mastering Interviews
- Getting the most from Observed Assessment
- Working with Portfolios
- Designing the Practical Assessment
- Projects and assessment
Four short recorded webinars on vital areas of end-point assessment practice – each one gives you a good grounding in the theory, but also provides practice advice and actions
- Working with grading
- Ensuring fairness, robustness and consistency
- Gathering evidence and giving feedback
- Working with behaviours
We will also send you a workbook and you will be able to submit questions to the facilitator.
You can register for the whole series for £95 (+VAT). This includes the full recorded webinar series, workbook/tools and opportunity to ask questions.
Who is this webinar series for?
The recorded webinar series has been designed for individuals planning to deliver (or already delivering) end-point assessments. It will also be helpful for trainer-assessors preparing apprentices on-programme for the end-point assessment.
Facilitators and speakers
The recorded webinars are facilitated by Chris Cherry, an SDN expert in apprenticeship on-programme training and end-point assessment. Chris has been heavily involved in the development of new standards and assessment plans, as well as supporting many EPAOs and hundreds of individuals to understand and prepare to deliver end-point assessment. Chris holds a Masters in assessment theory and is well published in this area.
Why an SDN recorded webinar series?
SDN are leading experts in the apprenticeship reforms – we’ve helped to set up some of the first EPAOs now offering end-point assessment, and train their assessors. We’ve supported over 3,000 apprenticeship staff, from 900 organisations, to help prepare to deliver apprenticeship standards and understand end-point assessment. We’ve also worked closely with over 80 of the trailblazer employer groups, giving us a unique insight into what is required.
Payment for these webinars are via credit card only.
