With the draft apprenticeship funding rules (2024/25) now published and the final rules due in a few months time, join us for our annual business-critical webinar series – now hosted in two parts to help you plan for the changes and understand the practical actions you will need to take across your organisation.
It’s easy to note down a list of funding rule changes – it’s more complex to evaluate their impact and how you might practically implement them in a way that is effective and efficient.
That’s where we do a lot of thinking for you. Using the stages of the learner journey, this 2-part webinar series will walk through the updates, what it means operationally for different teams along the way, where new risks might arise and practical ways you can mitigate them.
We’ll also give you a detailed “Changes Action Plan”, setting out all the key changes and actions you need to take across different teams.
Session 1 – laying the ground (took place on 29 April)
You will receive a recording of this session to review before attending session 2.
Following first release of the 2024-25 funding rules, this session:
- Broke down each of the funding rule changes
- Explored the impact for independent providers, universities, colleges, and employer providers
- Identified key risks across your organisation
- Identified where policies and processes will need adapting and how you can start to prepare for this
Session 2 – detailed implementation (now taking place 3 July* 2024 – 10-12pm)
(RE RUN of this session – 26 July 2024, 10-12pm)
Following final release of the rules, we’ll take a deep dive look at:
- How the funding rule changes will impact on the learner journey:
– Pre-entry
– Entry
– On-programme
– Gateway and end-point assessment
– Progression - Specific changes you will need to make to your ILR and funding administration and management
- Practical adaptions you will need to make to your systems, processes and templates
During the session, they’ll be chance for Q&A before receiving the detailed Changes Action Plan.
